If you see something unusual, say something. One thing that helps is getting any type of message out there about what you've seen whether it be online or in person.
Report any account online that posts anything that looks like it is manipulating people into a certain belief, posting symbols that are listed on the symbols page of this website, or making threats to hurt someone or themselves.
If you see any type of odd or unusual behavior such as eyes that open every widely at random points (flashbulb eyes), someone who is taking pictures of a place's structure that they could be using to plan an attack, a person who is pretending to conduct an attack, a person who is excessively sweating, swaying, or rubbing/wringing hands together when asked about behavior, etc.

If you have any suspicions about an account or a person, screenshot or keep photo evidence of what you're seeing and who is posting or behaving that way. This can be very useful in possibly preventing an attack or aiding law enforcement in an investigation to mitigate risk.

Push for education like this website to be instituted in education and workplace orientations so that we can combat terrorism by knowing what to look for online. By educating people on past attacks, individuals, behavior, etc. we can use the internet while being educated on what to report and what to look for.

Look for people who romanticize or admire the acts of people who carry out attacks. This admiration can lead to copy cat attacks in which they copy the behavior of the perpetrator and carry out a similar attack.
